The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence Campaign is still on, and we’re seeing a lot of actions and news from around the world on Say NO – UNiTE. Here are some highlights, in case you missed them.
UN Women launched COMMIT – a call for national commitments to prevent and address violence against women and girls. Ten governments have committed already. Has yours?
UNiTE to End Violence against Women campaign launched its official video: A Promise is A Promise. Share it if you like it!
Ride on. Speak Out to End Violence against Women. A unique action by UN Women in partnership with Harley Davidson. Spread the word!
Join Take Back the Tech! Campaign to map technology related violence and find out how we can end it.
Shine a light to end violence against women and HIV/AIDS.
What would you COMMIT if you were in charge of your country? Tell us on Facebook and on Twitter using the hashtag #SayUcommit from 7 – 10 December.
On 10 December, Human Rights Day, make your voice count!
If you are organizing actions, post them on www.saynotoviolence.org.
Check out our 16 Days of Activism corner and watch out for the Video of the Day on YouTube.
Sincerely,
